Our Mission And Vision

History of Gurdwara Guru Nanak Parkash

In the late 1950s and early 1960s Sikhs arrived in Coventry, mainly from the Punjab region of India. The first generation of Sikhs came together as a community (sangat) and set up the Gurdwara Guru Nanak Parkash in 1965. Today the gurdwara represents the determination and dedication of the local Sikhs to make Coventry their new home.
